A medical weight loss program begins with a comprehensive evaluation including:
Medical History: Comprehensive Intake of Chronic Diseases
Medications: Review current medications and potential agents that may be advantageous in your journey.
Physical Exam: Comprehensive Assessment
Lab Tests: Complete Blood Count, Complete Metabolic Panel, Thyroid Studies, Cortisol, HgA1c Testosterone, Estrogen, Urine Analysis and additional labs dependent on past medical history and symptomology
Lifestyle Review: Diet, activity level, sleep, stress and psychological factorsgoes here

If lifestyle measures alone are insufficient medication may be prescribed. We will discuss these options during your consultation and together come to a common goal and find the agent best suited for you.
Common FDA- approved options include:
GLP-1 receptor agonists: Semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound)
May be cost restrictive, Some insurance companies may cover the cost however, out of pocket cost ranges from $ 300 for a one-three month supply depending on dosage.
Appetite suppressants: Phentermine, Phentermine/Topirmate
Cost Effective and covered by most insurance companies
Combination therapies: Naltrexone/Buproprion
Cost Effective and covered by most insurance companies
Fat absorption inhibitor: Orlistat

Membership Includes
Initial Consultation is a one-time non-refundable fee of $100, and will be applied to clients who join for a 3-month or 6-month commitment.
Medications may be covered by insurance, however the more recent GLP-1 agonists will be prescribed from Strive Pharmacy, starting at $300 monthly (this is dependent on dosing and may last longer).
Initial Lab Panels are covered by insurance. For those that are self-pay this may range from $100-250 dependent on past medical history and chronic conditions.
Monthly follow-ups are included in the three/six month membership plans.
Additional symptom management will be recommended in support of your weight loss efforts and will be prescribed as needed to optimize your response to the modalities recommended.
